Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are for the supply of goods through the Treasured Inclusions online store, Facebook and Instagram (Treasured Inclusions) and shall apply to all contracts entered into Treasured Inclusions website and personally through Treasured Inclusions (Heather Dauncey). By placing your order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Contract:

No contract will exist between you and Treasured Inclusions for the sale of any product until Treasured Inclusions has accepted your order with a confirmation email and a full payment is taken from your credit/debit card or via Paypal. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.

Treasured Inclusions reserves the right to cancel your order in the event that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, if the item ordered does not meet our quality control standards and is withdrawn, out of stock or if there is an error in pricing or content. We may also refuse to process or accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses arising from cancelling your order and we shall have no liability to you, by way of compensation, other than to refund the amount paid for the goods in question.

Payment:

The prices payable for ordered goods are as set out in our website in CAD. Delivery charges will be clearly displayed when selected and included in the total cost.

Order Processing Times:

Standard processing time for our breastmilk jewelry and memorial jewelry is ten to fourteen weeks from the date we receive your inclusions. But this processing time is not guaranteed and can vary depending on the volume and complexity of orders we are currently servicing. Rings are more difficult and can take up to 14 weeks, and longer, depending on the ring, as we custom order rings individually by order, due to the many dozens of variations (model, metal type, size, etc.). 

Left Over Inclusions:

All remaining inclusions will be returned with your item, except for liquid breastmilk. Therefore, please ensure you send only 10ml. We will retain your preserved breastmilk for one year should you desire another piece in the future. If you prefer that we do not keep it, we will include it with the return of your item.

Each piece of our breastmilk and memorial jewelry is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, eschewing machines and mass production. As a result, the natural imperfections inherent to handmade jewelry may be present in the breastmilk or memorial stone we create for you. These imperfections can include minor air bubbles within your stone, slight variations in shape or edge, or an uneven distribution of mylar or metal flakes. While we strive for perfection in every creation, such variations are commonplace and contribute to the distinctive depth and character of your jewelry. Each piece narrates its unique story, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Handmade items by nature do not possess a machine-like finish. Additionally, the composition of each mother's milk is distinct, leading to differences in color, density, and hue. When we process your breastmilk into powder form, it usually takes a white color, if you have a different color milk and want that color preserved, please let us know. We celebrate this distinctiveness as it infuses a personal element into your jewelry. Similar variations may occur with ashes and blood."

We ask our customers to appreciate the handmade, unique, and personal nature of our products. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for imperfections inherent in handcrafted jewelry or if the received piece deviates slightly from the website image, which serves as a representation of someone else's unique piece. 

Given the personalization of each item, we do not accept returns. However, if you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your piece, and we will promptly assist you in resolving the issue by repairing or replacing the item, provided it is returned to us and the defects are not typical of handmade jewelry. We meticulously inspect all jewelry before packaging to ensure quality.

Cancellation of orders are not accepted:

For order modifications, please email heatherdauncey@treasuredinclusions.com for approval, considering the stage of your order and the selected jewelry piece. Approved changes incur a $20 fee plus any price difference for upgrades. Exceptions apply to ring changes, with fees and processing times varying. If changes result in a lower-priced item, no refunds are issued.

We use a special curing process that preserves the milk's integrity, but exposure to UV light may cause a creamy hue over time, a natural occurrence. Excessive discoloration or damage beyond normal wear within one year of receipt qualifies for store credit, provided proper care was followed and defects are not due to mishandling. All sales are final.

Property:

The entire content of this website is owned by Treasured Inclusions. A1 SilverHub owns A1 SilverHub Photos. Any photo's we have personally taken of your jewelry, is property of Treasured Inclusions.
